We should thank Zoya Akhtar for showing us, through Murad that behind the veil of lyrical protests against unjust socio-economic structures, there can be self-centred individualism at play. We need more filmmakers like Zoya Akhtar who can slip-in the story of a Gutsy Girl like Safeena in a movie on Gully Boy. It is for the audience to choose which story to celebrate.
